Rücker EU – stands for an owner-managed family dairy run by its fourth generation. The pan-European market is particularly important to us, we supply the complete range of our end-user products for your national market. Our cheese specialities are produced according to the strictest standards. And everything is 100 per cent ‘Made in Northern Germany’.

With RÜCKER EU you have a guarantee of origin. We exclusively process high-quality cow’s milk from farms in Germany’s coastal regions for all our cheese specialities. And therefore close to one of our two dairy plants in Wismar and Aurich. Production, manufacture and packaging take place at our two locations in Aurich and Wismar. Short distances, high transparency, everything from a single source – this is how we guarantee our quality standards.

International classics from Northern Germany

To change, to broaden our horizons – this has always determined how we think and what we do. Our senior boss Paul started our worldwide export business and invented the German version of Greek feta, the core of a whole product family today. Our Frisian Shepherd’s cheese tastes fantastically mild and is made from 100 per cent North German coastal farm milk. We still like to be inspired by the eating habits of different cultures. As with our grilling cheese: inspired by halloumi, but doesn’t squeak when eaten.

Besides milk, now plants too

We have launched an innovative vegan food made from hemp and peas under the brand ‘Vega Lecker’. However, ‘Vega Lecker’ is not an alternative to cheese but another, completely new option for nutritionally and environmentally conscious consumers.

Clean label and high protein

We do not use any colourings or preservatives in all RÜCKER cheese specialities. Pure nature, that’s our maxim. We also ensure that ingredients such as herbs and olives are totally natural. All our cheeses are gluten-free, and we try to produce them as lactose-free as possible. RÜCKER products are naturally suppliers of high-quality protein – indulgence and health go hand in hand for us.

Top quality standards

To guarantee the high quality of our cheeses, we control all raw materials according to a strictly regulated system. RÜCKER works according to the established German and international quality standards in the dairy industry, including among others IFS Broker Version 3,2019 (Higher Level), IFS Food Version 6.1, November 2017 and the international labour law standard SMETA 4 Pillars. Our products are also halal (Halal Control) and certified according to the Malaysian halal standard. We also supply selected products kosher. We regularly have our quality standards assessed by external auditors, we are successfully certified time and again.
