Edam semi-hard cheese with 30 % fat – tasty and versatile
The Nordic specialty Edam semi-hard cheese is a classic which is popular worldwide. The family dairy Rücker has been producing it for 100 years. It originally used to be exported to Denmark, but today it goes to many more countries. Matured near the Baltic at the Ostsee-Molkerei Wismar, Edam is sliceable with few pea-sized holes and a mild taste. Ideal for a breakfast buffet, but also well suited for further processing.
